Sara & Ian have a little peace of heaven here. Wonderful views. Excellent walks and not far from all the tourist places. We wish we could have experienced more of Ian's cooking but Sara suggested excellent places to eat near by on the nights Ian was not cooking. A longer return visit is a must for us. Unless you insist on a swimming pool and/or hate children, you must stay at Le Chevrefeuille while visiting the Dordogne! We are looking forward to our third consecutive year at Le Chevrefeuille with our two girls (now aged 9 and 10) and that says it all. We had a lovely relaxing time, the hotel is in the perfect spot to explore all ot the surounding tourist sites chateau, villages, caves and markets. Sara and Ian are very good relaxed hosts and are good company. We enjoyed a day of cooking with Ian and the resulting long leasurely al fresco meal is a highlight of our trip. more
