Terrific - absolutely no complaints at all. The staff are extremely accommodating, polite and helpful. The rooms are functional, clean and of decent size. The location is just spectacular - huge terrace overlooking the tidal salt water lake, close enough to walk into town for dinner (sadly, the restaurant closed) and far enough away to be quiet in the evenings.... I booked this hotel on booker.com. Next time I will not do that. Email the hotel, and ask for room availability. You will find more room availability. I think the hotel location is fantastic. I think that this hotel has so much more potential if there was better management. The food was bad. I would not order breakfast or lunch... More

Good clean modern hotel. Rooms with side view and rooms with lake view. The hotel told us that they dont have a restaurant anymore just B&B Rooms are large with large comfy beds. flat tv and the heating system/aircon they call climat and works individual for every room. Just set the temp you like best. Not too noisy. Short walk... More

I stayed here for two nights in September and really liked the place. I found the hotel staff to be relaxed and friendly from the word go, although one person in the "restaurant" needs to take a holiday himself, I think before he has a heart attack, whilst pleasant enough his demeanour could easily be taken for aggression. That would... More

Although the reception staff are friendly and helpful as were two of the younger members of staff in the restaurant and the cleaners, the rest of the restaurant staff are ignorant and arrogant, the restaurant could only remain busy by making it compulsory to have half board, the hotel is generally acceptable room wise, although not great, it is definitely... Chanced upon this before reading Trip Advisor reviews. We had a room with a balcony over the lake. Room modern & clean. Free Wi-Fi appreciated. Didn't eat in, when we returned it was all shut up. I believe this hotel offers excellant price/quality, & will return with friends.

I stay here fairly regularly on business and always enjoy the experience. One day I will return for a short quiet break with my wife as this is what the hotel is best suited for. It’s well located, has an elegant charm and can be very peaceful if you get the right room. As already mentioned by others parking is... More

We had a lake view room with a balcony and being south west facing, we had the sun on the balcony in June from 4pm until 9pm each day. The room was very comfortable with a well equipped bathroom complete with a jacuzzi bath. There was air conditioning and also a roller shutter to reduce the heat in the bedroom... More
