Spent a night at the most quirky, old castle. Charming, though worn-down rooms. Good restaurant with pretty, classic decor. Choose one of the dishes that are carvet by your table side. it's a treat. Skip the swimmingpool, it's too worn-down to visit. The best of all was a pathway from the lawn leading directly through woodlands to the roaring sea,... More

This is a great place to stay for car clubs with plenty of private parking- the Chateau rooms were very nice and the swimming pool was most welcome. The meals were delicious and they made us most welcome with a complimentary Kir on arrival. There is plenty to see and do in the environs although the Chateau itself is fairly... More

The outside of this hotel is very nice but the family room we paid 200 euros a night for was the worst room I have ever stayed in. The room stank of damp and even leaving the windows open for 2 days did not get rid of the damp smell. The room had obviously not been cleaned wilh large cobwebs on... More

Chateau itself very imposing, lovely grounds, but the room we stayed was in an annexe was gloomy, and definitely in need of some .TLC,and a bit grubby in the bathroom area,I think the rooms were a lot nicer in the Chateau itself, the staff weren;t particularly friendly, but we had a meal in the Chateau which was excellent.

We were looking for somewhere to spend 4 days incl New Years eve within easy driving distance of St Malo / Dinard airport. My sister had stayed there previously. About 3-4 kms from the village , quite isolated, so you need a car, but within 15-20 mins of the hypermarches etc of Lamballe/St Brieuc. Very traditional French chateau, we stayed... More

Our idea of chateau/hotel perfection was realized with this hotel. While not deluxe as in an urban hotel, the chateau and its furnishings are authentic. Comfort details like a good mattress and modrn bathroom have been well executed while the overall ambiance could take the visitor back to the 18th C. The staff were helpful and hospitable. Dinner was well-prepared... More
