La Goibette's owner Marie-Christine is charming and speaks good English - her home is full of interesting objects and the two rooms available to guests are in a separate wing - our room was spacious, with a lots of character and a nice bathroom. The parking is secure and our double room was 60euros B&B. After breakfast overlooking the garden, and sampling Marie-Christine's home-made preserves, we continued on our tour of the Loire valley. La Goibette is close to the the town of Tours, and the nearby Chateau Villandry is worth a visit for its stunning gadens. more
