Stayed overnight in early August. We had a room with a view of the Dordogne river, which was what we had requested. I agree the loo is in a very cramped separate area which had no ventilation. From the bridge over the wide Dordogne you look up and see this grey, feudal-looking edifice and perhaps you think fleetingly of Elsinore. There is something rather grim about the exterior, though the Liebus's interior renovations have made it warm and inviting. Stayed at this hotel for three days in May 2006. Was delighted with the room, the service and the food. The weather too was very kind reaching 23c . Our good sized room had been recently refurbished with a new bathroom, toilet (rather small) and TV. The decor was very tasteful and in keeping with the stonework and exposed beams.... more
