We had high hopes for this hotel - from the pictures it looked gorgeous and we were hoping to spend the last couple of days of our holiday here - relaxing by the sea and by the pool. We stayed at the Hotel Punta Lara for 2 nights in May 2008 but would not stay there again. We stayed at Punta Lara in the second week of July with our 2 young children. We arrived in the middle of a heatwave with temperatures hitting 43C !!!
