Our stay with Brigitte at the Chateau Saint-Martial was perfect. The Chateau is beautiful, very well facilitated and our room enormous with lovely furnishings and windows overlooking the pool/grounds. Very good breakfast including eggs which is unusual in France. We loved our stay, it was a quiet time of year, and we couldn't fault anything. The hostess was very helpful, gave good recommendations on the local area. It's completely unpretencious if you want a maid to wait on you it's probably not for you, it's more the style of a B&B in service.
