The Canfield house surpasses the dozens of B and B's we've been in over the years. Each room is a creative work of art, following a theme--right down to stickers on the toilet-paper! People were actually taking pictures of the delicous, 3-course gourmet breakfast, complete with edible flowers and personal table service. (To tempt you: raspberry summer soup, white chocolate chip and apricot scones, wild rice, canadian bacon, onion and montery jack cheese quiche with sausage links and various fruits!) The location is ideal, and the innkeepers pay attention to ever detail in both decor, ambience and personal service. We want to own our our B and B someday, so also do "research' during our travels across the nation, but especially ones near Lake Michigan. Paul and Jane were very helpful and accomodating.
