The property appears to be very cute and tidy as you approach, but beware of lodging in the original inn. It is unfortunately in total disrepair. Hotel is in need of updating and a good cleaning. Meal plan has been scaled back while price has gone up. Some guests act like they own the place and gather in large loud groups without consideration, even significantly after "quiet time". On the other hand, there is not much for little ones to break. The location on Portage Lake and Lake Michigan is superb. One of the problems is poorly trained dining room staff.
