Much more affordable than surrounding hotels. Perfect location very near Petosky and Harbor Springs. We went during 4th of July so it was an easy walk to the water to see the fireworks. We stayed at the Terrace Inn mid-August 2009 on the 2nd floor facing north. Small room but wonderful view. Breakfast choices were simple, but I really enjoyed them and will definitely come back again. The hotel is on the west end town, but very close to city parks and Petosky State Park, a premier Michigan must-see. more

I would give this inn my highest rating if you are interested in a very historic, well-maintained place to stay. It is located in a neighborhood of exceptional historic houses.
