The Montaue Inn was an excellent place to stay as I was working on genealogical research. Located on 8 acres of beautiful land, I could see the lake out of my Rust Room Window and Ojibway Island behind that. I was one mile from the Hoyt Library in one direction and one mile from the court house in the other.... more

Romance was in the air from the moment we entered the Montague Inn of Saginaw! As we entered the Robert room and discovered the champagne on ice and rose petals gracefully covering the floor and bed, my husband was delighted to see that the Inn respected his wishes for attention to detail. We stayed at the Montague Inn several times off and on during the summer and fall of 2007 under terrible circumstances, my 83 year old mother was dying of cancer. The thought of staying at a hotel was difficut but I found this was not just a "hotel", it was oddly soothing and made the ordeal a little easier. First... more
