Only stayed for one night but it was everything I'd expect from a chambre d'hotes. Good hosts, a comfortable room and a lovely breakfast. All in all a good stopover if, like me, you're travelling around France.

We have just spent three lovely days with Lyn and Richard at their very individual B&B. We received a warm welcome and our hosts were amiable, engaging and informative. The accommodation is spotless. contemporary and comfortable. The icing on the cake are the alpacas. Lyn gives a thorough explanation of all things alpaca and you can even take them for a walk and help when they are fed. All in all a great stay!

We stayed in both the gite and the B&B, both of which were gorgeously decorated and very homely. We really loved spending time in the swimming pool and walking the alpacas! Lynn and Richard were excellent hosts and really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here. We can't wait to come back :)

We have just returned from a blissfully relaxing week in the Alpaca gite with Lynn, Richard and the enchanting alpacas. We were lucky to arrive in the middle of alpaca baby season and the annual shearing day, when alpacas from all over the area come to Lynn's to be shorn. They are intriguing quiet creatures and added an extra dimension to our stay. The gite itself is warm and comfortable with everything you need- including all the UK tv channels for any soap addicts! The woodburning stove was a real treat on cooler evenings and on the warmest night sunset in the outdoor hot tub was magical. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we slept longer and more peacefully even than at home. Having Lynn and Richard on site made it more relaxing than being on our own in a place out in the sticks or with French speaking proprietors. Lynn struck the perfect balance between being always available and welcoming but never over friendly or intrusive. The fact that we are a female couple was never in any way an issue, which is not always the case abroad. It also made a nice change to be in an adults only space and another bonus for us was NO DOGS!! There are some delightful, authentic and interesting places to visit nearby whilst still being far from the hectic tourist trail, yet it is easy to get to from Limoges airport which must be the smallest and easiest to use in France. This is an ideal place for couples and single women travellers would also feel very safe and secure here.It would also make an excellent place for writers seeking a rural retreat. Thankyou again Lynn and Richard for a truly relaxing and reviving stay.…

The Alpaca B&B typifies a modern French Chambre d'hote. The setting is beautiful with plenty of outside space to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass or wine. The pool is large and immaculately clean with plenty of poolside seating for those wishing to sun bathe. Our bedroom was spacious and the bathroom had a lovely powerful shower with ample amounts of hot water. Breakfast was a relaxed affair spent with the other guests. Lynn and Richard share their home generously with their guests and were always on hand to offer tips for the days adventures. Alpaca enthusiast or not, this is a B&B well worth a visit.

We had a very clean and comfortable room in a lovely traditional farmhouse style house. The facilities were beyond those to be expected of a B&B with pool and hot tub available as well as a lovely home-cooked evening meal if required by prior arrangement. It was extremely hot during our stay but the room was still comfortable and fans were available to help cool things down. The property itself was beautiful and peaceful and its location was great for exploring the Dordogne. We had a very relaxing stay and our hosts were extremely thoughtful. I also loved the involvement with the alpacas (although this isn't compulsory!).

We have just spent a wonderful two weeks at The Alpaca B and B. We were so looking forward to our visit and we were not disappointed. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and we slept really well. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool in the sunshine, taking the odd dip to cool off. Lynn was a fantastic host and really looked after us. Feeding the alpacas was amazing, they are just adorable animals. There is lots to see and do in the area, and all in all, our visit was just perfect. Highly recommend.
