I was a bit disappointed at check in to find that they did not have rollaways which I requested when I made the reservation and that the room they put me in was not an executive suite. But after returning to the front desk and requesting the room change, things were fine. The hotel is nice and clean, the staff... more

I wasn't looking forward to my recent business stay. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and found it dirty and dated. During this trip, I was shocked. The entire hotel looks and feels new. All the common areas and rooms are very modern, clean and inviting. I also spent a few hours in the business center and... more

I booked through Priceline at a cost of $42; plus taxes and Priceline fees of $12.11, my total cost for a single night was $54.11. This is a good value for an Embassy Suites. It wasn't busy the night I stayed which is likely why I was able to get it for such a good price. I arrived late and... more

As per the previous poster: this hotel is currently under renovation. It should have been closed while this is going on. It is being ripped apart. There is dust and construction stuff everywhere. Entering the hotel is through a back entrance, using the freight elevator, with the "front desk" and "restaurant" both in rooms that were never meant for the... more

This is is the worst hotel on earth, I had booked this 2 months before to attend a course and the hotel is being completley renovated whilst the guests have to pay full rates. $149 per night, jack hammers, tractors, drilling, all balconies are covered with plastic, temporary restuarant, all other services are closed. This hotel should have closed to... more

First thing when we walked in the door there was a pair of dirty socks lying right by the window. Clearly visible upon entering the room. The carpets were not swept anywhere near the walls. You could see dust and dirt everywhere. The light that was closest to the door had a broken switch on it, nearly electrocuting me. The... more

Booked this hotel thru Priceline for $50 a night--in town for a concert at the Palace & didn't want to spend a lot on a hotel. Had never been to this property--were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Parking was readily available and close-by, lobby was attractive, personnel at the desk very friendly. Although they were sold out of the suites... more

We stayed at the Embassy Suites Troy for 1 night. We knew right from the start that this was not going to be a pleasant stay. As we were walking down the hallway towards our room, there were bags of trash and dirty plates from room service outside of numerous doors. Our room seemed clean enough, but upon closer examination... more

We had a family gathering at the Embassy Suites in Troy Michigan. We booked 6 rooms and requested that they be located near each other. What a delightful surprise to find that the hotel accomodated us by giving us 6 rooms right next to each other. Delightful people in reservations and servicing the property. Would stay here again and recommend... more

My wife and I stayed stayed at this hotel the night of our wedding. The hotel i very nice with a huge atrium in the middle. The suites are a good size, with a nice sitting room. The biggest problem we had was that our thermostat was not working, so it stayed about 80 degrees all night. That was pretty... more
