I read decent reviews about this hotel on Tripadvisor... BUT these ratings were from before the Hilton got changed into a Ramada. This place was a desolate dump, hardly any one was staying here although the Embassy Suites and Drury Inn nearby were packed. The Rooms: No fridge, small, and DIRTY. I turned on the heat and the room started... more

I had a great experience at the Troy Ramada Plaza hotel. I only needed limited interaction with the staff, but they were friendly and helpful. I used the business center and the pool with no problems, and it also had a nice fitness center. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The paint and carpets were in great condition.... more

I just returned from a fantastic conference at this hotel. Everything went perfectly. I truly loved everything about the conference space and being in the Troy area. I REALLY loved Charley's Crab which is the fancy restaurant attached to the hotel. The food is fabulous and you don't even have to like seafood. The hotel is also very, very close... more
