I was caught in a bad snow storm and unable to drive home. This hotel was convenient, clean, and economical. I did not require anything special. I have stayed there before and the room I had then wasn't as nice but it was still clean and comfortable.

This is a Very Nice Property in a beautiful setting next tot he Lake. The Staff always goes "Above and Beyond" to make my stay enjoyalbe. It has become my "Destination" when I am near Detroit on business.

I stayed here while working in the area, and I was genuinely surprised by the rooms. In a good way! The outside looks a little dated, but the inside has all the amenities you need while being away from home. And the beds are comfortable with four pillows( two firm and two soft). I will definatly be staying here again.

I had forgotten to pack my custom made orthotic pillow when I left. Usually I put a bright colored pillowcase on it so it won't blend in with the bed pillows. Some previous comments indicated dirty, smokey, outdated rooms. This was the polar opposite for my recent stay. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the rooms tastefully decorated. It's evident there was a recent renovation. The only criticism would be the small breakfast area. However, it is free and decent quality with a good variety.

Selected this as a place to rest but was surprised at the convienent location as well as the friendlyness of the staff and it does have a nice pool
