I really had an issue with not every cabin had a picnic table. I know it may sound petty but it made meal time quiet stressful. Not having a place to sit or set food down. I bet there were 3 tables to 15 cabins or so!! Not fun.

We were completely unimpressed by Ruttger's after our three night stay. Another reviewer compared it to a Motel 6 with a view. That is completely unfair to Motel 6. We had a lakeview room in main lodge. What a view!. Everyone was friendly. Very relaxing trip it was for our 20th anniversary getaway so glad we went there. The only bad thing was our bed was a back killer. Woke up in knots and stairs was killer bad knees.

The Ruttger's Lodge restaurant is one of the few restaurants located on the shore of Lake Bemidji, and it's well worth the cost.
