Bloomington location was not real convenient to downtown Minneapolis sites, but it was within a 20 minute drive to UM, downtown, metrodome, etc. But the price was more affordable than downtown hotels, and the outdoor free parking lot was refreshing after staying at too many $20 per night no-in-out-privilege hotels in the past. We stayed here while at a soccer tournament and enjoyed our stay a lot. The suites are large and clean and all eight floors overlook the main area (where two weddings occurred during our stay there). This is a cool place - interior is unusual and pleasant. Food was average, service ok. The bartender was asleep and in no particular hurry, but still a decent place to catch alate beer and unwind. Doors to rooms lack some privacy, but overall this is a really nice business class hotel. more
