My husband and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary with a snowmobile trip to Grand Rapids, MN. The Budget Host Inn provided everything we needed for a fantastic experience -- plenty of parking for a truck, trailer, and snowmobiles, bagels & oatmeal at the front desk in the morning, partnered with advice on which trails to ride, great warm-up spots, and stories about their personal experiences and those of the other snowmobilers staying at the Budget Host Inn.

We stayed in the jacuzzi suite, which was great! It's the first time I've seen real bedding -- real sheets (not the white cardboard stuff) and a comforter with tons of throw pillows, like what you'd have in your home.

It turned out to be a cold weekend and on Sunday morning, our truck wouldn't start. The owners, Leon and Michelle Furlong, drove their truck over to our room to give our truck a jump-start. When our truck still didn't start, they offered to lend us their personal truck to go to church... more
