This is an older motel located just west of town on the highway. I stayed there several nights last August and was very pleased. They had just raised their rates from $33/night to $38/night but it's still an excellent value for a clean room in the area. It's nothing fancy and the room is compact but functional. There was a great tv with full cable lineup, but no premium channels. There was a coffeemaker in the room with complimentary coffee packets, a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom wasn't cramped and featured a shower instead of a bathtub which I prefer since I have trouble getting in and out of a tub. There was a desk with a couple of chairs and it was a cozy room. The place and furniture were old. The a/c worked fine and there were no odors in the room. It was very clean. The biggest problem is being close to the tracks, when the train comes through at 5:15 am and blows the whistle, it's a bit noisy, however most all motels in town are located near the tracks so... more
