The location was great, but the hotel wasn't. Half of our room's outlets worked, and the bed hadn't been changed since the 1950's. Not the most up to date décor either. And the only ice machine is in the basement. Any other location and this would be $60 per night. Super 8 has better.This was $130

We love Lutsen and Caribou Highlands! The only thing that I can complain about is that the wifi connection is so weak that u can't stream in Netflix. This is really a problem when there are maybe 10 tv channels.....we may not be there to watch tv but when u have kids u need some options....in this day and age... More

We stayed at the resort in August 2012. Beautiful place, nice accommodation. Our kids and grandkids can't wait to go there this summer again. I would recommend Caribou Highlands to everybody. Book in advance to get a good deal.

We loved Unit 620 with its 2 story stone fireplace, beautiful appliances in the kitchen and comfortable beds and bedding in the 2 spacious bedrooms. Beautiful view of Moose Mountain. nice location but overall kind of grimy. The restaurant and bar are nice and fun, but the common indoor areas and the grounds are dirty with garbage and litter all over. I am not reviewing the gorgeous scenery, not even the very decent restaurant. It is all about the accommodation. In our case a 2 bedroom Poplar Townhome, unit 680.
