We came to Walnut Grove for the Laura Ingalls Wilder Festival and Pageant. We recently Visited Marshall, For a Wedding... We needed to Check in Early and called ahead of the Check Inn Time. They were able to accommodate us. They placed us in a room where they had new Beds, very comfortable and worth the price we paid. We needed directions and the Person at the Desk Printed out these for us... more

I don't advise this motel to anybody. It smelled terrible, the carpet was wet. Somebody went through our clothes and throw women's stuff around the room, when we were not at the motel. Easy to find on Route 59, right across from Wal-Mart & next to Cenex C-Store. Seems to be popular with contractors. Building & lot have seen better days, no fluff just good clean rooms and very friendly staff. more
