The staff was very friendly. The hotel itself was old (could use a remodel), but clean. The internet worked fine. Good location for those needing to attend events at the University of Minnesota. more

My wife and I stayed here while our daughter's team competed in a basketball tournament held at the U of M Williams Arena. The motel is conveniently located about 3 blocks east of the University. I stayed here for a conference at the University - it wasn't as close as the University Radisson but considerably cheaper... The stay (five nights) was OK . The hotel is fine, a budget hotel that is reasonably clean and felt very safe. We had a small room with 1 queen bed, it was clean. The bed sheets were thin (the top sheet even had a hole). We chose this hotel based on proximity to the shuttle service for the State Fair as well as price which was $80.10 with AAA discount. We planned to stay for three nights.
