Check-in was fast and easy. Desk staff were pleasant and friendly. I got to my room and was pleasantly surprised (that is, with the exception of the temperature). After trying to figure out how to get the air conditioning to work, I called the front desk and asked for help. They offered me a new room. The new room was... more

I stayed there for a conference. Not sure where to begin. First when you sat on the end of the bed the bed would lift up. Hair dryers and irons didn't work. Room had a moldy smell to it. Faulty elevators, rude management, and poor room service. They advertise over 100 hotels I hope they are not all like this... more

I've stayed here now a few times over the past couple years. Since this is my company's corporate hotel, I haven't stayed anywhere else in downtown Mpls (so I can't compare). It's an average hotel for business travelers - nothing fancy, nothing amazing, but nothing horrible either. The service is good, breakfast is yummy (I recommend the yogurt parfait). On... more

We stayed here for New Years 08. The party was OK but the drinks were totally over priced. Our hotel room and the hallway looked like it had not been updated since 1972. And the bathroom was really small. You could sit on the toilet and wash your hands at the same time.m However, the lobby and elevators were really... more

Had a great stay at the Millenium! First, the staff was just excellent. Literally everyone I encountered asked if there was something they could assist with. The front desk really made me feel welcome and made me feel like a guest. Convenient location right on Nicollet Mall - would have liked a location a little closer to Light Rail but... more

I stayed here because the other hotel was booked for the conference. I enjoyed my stay immensely. The staff were excellent and made sure I got the fridge in my room in a timely manner. (I have medical need of one.) The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only thing that would've been a bit better was free wi-fi. Still... more

When I booked this hotel I wasn't sure what I was getting into, but I was hoping it was the Millennium based on what friends had said and what other travelers had said in their reviews. A couple weeks before we arrived I called to see if we could upgrade our room, which the hotel was very eager to do... more

Problems with the room included but were not limited to a torn blanket, random holes in the walls, hair in the bathroom, a dead outlet, another outlet from which a standard phone charger kept falling out (socket was too loose). The furniture was ancient and didn't include a television cabinet (it was just sitting on the dresser). There were stains... more

Just got back from my stay at the Millenium in Minneapolis. I picked the hotel because it was closest to the Convention center. That was the best part of the stay. The lobby is very nice, but that's all. The room was tacky: stained carpeting, scratched up furniture, tv didn't work, hair dryer didn't work, there was a short in... more

Stayed there briefly while traveling on business. Hotel is located right by the downtown district of Minneapolis, walkable distance to shopping centres and Art Centre/Sculpture. Also very close to freeway entrance (less than 5mins drive). Paid $110 for a night (plus tax) so room rates weren't bad. However, compared to other hotels of the same grade, room service was slightly... more
