We spent the last week staying at all three star properties that all seemed the same. The AmericInn was a breath of fresh air! The rooms were quiet and supper clean. The manager working the desk told us they had just installed new beds. The beds were very comfortable and the 32" flat screen TV's made watching television easy. Lastly... more

My faith in AmericInn is cracking. This is my second straight poor review of one of their hotels. We picked this hotel while on the road and paid the rate we were quoted over the phone. Given the location I thought the room rate of $72 (plus tax = $79) was very fair. Pool and hot tub area were great as I always find at Americinn. Check in guy was crabby--all other personell were great. room was spacious and clean. breakfast was ok (recommend the waffles) but have had better at other Americinn locations. No fox... more

This place is a dump! I picked up a roach I found in the room with a napkin and brought it to the front desk. They were completely uninterested. They seemed to be aware of the issue but helpless to do anything about it. more

Stayed two nights on a business trip. I pre-paid thru Orbitz and needed to leave one night early. Orbitz didn't want to refund me for the unused night but the clerk gave helpful advice and I got my money refunded. Had some problems with the wi-fi, but the clerk was very helpful and personally took my computer and showed me... more

We stayed at this motel during our visit to the Mall of America. It was okay but we thought the mall was within walking distance, not! Shuttle service left alot to be desired, so we drove every day. Breakfast needed some variety, boring. Staff was friendly and motel was clean, bed comfortable, pool area nice. Worst problem was the ice... more

We spent Labor Day weekend (2004) at the Mall of America and stayed at this Americinn. What a great place to stay. The staff was wonderful, always helpful and friendly. We were very pleased with this hotel and will stay here again. more

Not only were the rooms great & the price right but the employees were the best on our 3 week trip. The room did not have a refrigerator( most of our other stays had them) so when we checked in with perisable food the staff put our items in their refrigerator & let us take out as needed.
