I was a patient at the Mayo Clinic and was traveling with my mom. We were there for five days and complained EACH day that the room smelled like dirty, nasty feet. Due to the fact that I was running around the Mayo everyday for hours, we were too tired to even attempt to move rooms. We did buy some... more

Was here for business at the Mayo Clinic. Many hotels have a sky walk so you do not have to go outside in the cold Minnesota winter, including this hotel. Room was well appointed, including free internet, flat screen TV, fridge and a super comfortable bed with high quality bedding. Service was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was reasonable and sufficient.... more

My daughter and I stayed there for five nites in Dec. 08. She was a patient at the Mayo Clinc. This hotel is great. She was having surgery so I asked them for a room that was quiet and not close to the elevator or ice machine. The room was great !, The beds are to die for. Wonderful, great... more

This was my first time in MN and I enjoyed staying here. The staff is friendly, room is comfortable and the breakfast is good. Parking is a challenge but it is downtown and they will valet. There are several restaurants within walking distance. There is a mall connected to the hotel next door. Not bad at all. more

We stayed in this hotel because someone else booked a package at another hotel that was hit by lightning and the hotel hit by lightning put us up here at the same rate as their rooms would have been. Overall there are some very good points to this hotel. 1. Everything was beautiful and they were constantly cleaning somewhere. 2.... more

Comfortable beds, but didn't care too much for the small parkikng lot. I don't mind walking a block to park in a metered parking garage. It's downtown Rochester and majority of the hotels there have to park near or a block away. Room is great and clean as expected but the beds are sure comfy. I'd stay here again! more

Stayed here on our first visit to Mayo's. Could not have picked a better value !! We were directly attached to everything we needed, which was great during the blizzard that occurred. Room service from a local cafe was wonderful, as was the breakfast served right in the lobby. The staff was VERY helpful, especially the shuttle drivers. Do not... more

This is a good hotel and the staff is very courteous. They have a shuttle to the local malls. They have wireless internet in the rooms and 24hr access to the fax, printing and computer facility. No charge for printing, copying documents. They also have a small pool and hot tub. The gym is small but sufficient. House keeping and... more

We visit Rochester every year. When we visit we have our short list of preferred hotels, and the Hilton Garden Inn tops them all. It's a quiet place to stay that has almost everything you would need. The rooms are always clean and well maintained. One year we had a problem with the A/C where it leaked water onto the... more
