My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Inn during our trip to Rochester. Although the purpose of our trip was for medical reasons (I was being treated at the Mayo Clinic), we ended up enjoying our time in Rochester, and our hotel played a big part! The staff was friendly, helpful, and supportive, and attended to every need and... more

This hotel has underwent a recent renovation it seems, therefore the place was spotless. This hotel is located in a very good area, close to everything. In addition, they offer free shuttle service to Mayo Clinic. Their amenities were great also and the staff was wonderful. We encountered a few inconveniences, but they were not significant enough however. They were:... more

This hotel seems to have mostly Mayo customers; therefore, it's an middle age or older crowd. Mayo patients recieve a discount. Rooms are remodeled and very clean with new Traine heat/air systems, new LG TVs, and excellent wireless for your laptop. If you have no computer, then there are two in the business center. The bedspreads are snow white color... more

I have stayed here twice in the last few months. What a great value! Almost makes me wonder how they make money! If you're not price sensitive, then you might as well stay downtown where you can walk to restaurants and the Mayo Clinic. But in addition to your room being $75-$100 more expensive per night, you'll have to pay... more

This hotel is absolutely nasty! Since alot of Mayo patients stay at this hotel, you would think that it would be more concerning to be sanitary- it WASN"T!!!!!! The whole entire hotel is carpeting which can hold infections lie crazy. Also the carpets look like they've never been shampooed in like 15 years. The soup that they serve is old,... more

I stayed here 2 nights, one of them unplanned as my Mayo visit lasted longer than I had planned. I selected it based on Tripadvisor reviews as I was looking for a very quiet, clean, reasonably priced hotel not too far from Mayo. The room was really clean, spacious enough, free HBO etc, they offer free soup at night (I... more

I stayed 5 nights feb. 22 - 26 while taking a teen daughter to Mayo Clinic. The staff (Dan, Mike, Matthew, etc.) were fabulous!!! I took the complimentary shuttle every day to Mayo and found the drivers always polite and quite pleasant as the visits to the clinic can be very draining. Went to the 24 hour pool and hot... more

Recently had to visit Rochester for the Mayo clinic and stayed at the Hampton inn. Checked in and Mike was at the front desk. Couldnt have been any more friendlier or nicer. A bonus to the hotel in dealing with Mike. If all employees were like Mike, all hotels would be 5 stars. Actually, the whole staff was wonderful, but... more

We stayed at this hotel with sub-zero Minnesota temperatures and snow outside. But inside we had a warming welcome and hot soup in the evenings. Lovely. The service was wonderful - especial thanks to the dedicated employees who not only cleared the parking lot but even brushed the snow off every single car before the sun had come up. And... more
