We moved to Silver Bay in 2007, but have stayed at Whispering Pines Motel often in the past years and we highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a place to stay!. We have repeatedly stayed at the Whispering Pines for many years, it is like coming home to friends. Rooms are not fancy but clean, great view of Lake Superior next to Tettagouche State Park. You could walk to the park from the hotel. Several trailheads for the Superior Hiking Trail are within a mile of the hotel also. The hotel... more
We reserved two rooms at the motel. Very clean rooms. Everything worked fine except the TV remote control. Owner answered my email promptly and reserved rooms for us without a problem. Not a fancy place, but convenient and reasonably priced. A little road noise from the highway but not too bad. more
