Recently stayed at the Bluebell for one night with my Husband after a family party. Room was lovely, looked all freshly decorated. Nice friendly Landlord. Could benefit from providing a cooked breakfast, as cereal and a pastry doesn't really hit the spot after a night out :-) Highly recommended.

I recently stayed here for a two night stay whilst visiting family locally. I found the Blue Bell via the local council tourism website and, after 20 years of business travel and hotels/B&B's, my standards are pretty high. We stayed for four nights at the Bluebell and found it to be a very friendly pub with a congenial landlord and landlady. The beer was excellent.and the accommodation roomy and comfortable. Continental breakfast OK. We will be making a return visit.

We arrived around 3pm and were immediately welcomed to our room which was spotlessly clean and well equippped. We were going to an evening wedding at Barnby Moor and were looking for a b&b close by....we found this on a website and it was the closest to the wedding venue so we booked it. The hosts were very friendly indeed, The rooms were spotlessly clean and very well furnished. We loved the fact that the continental breakfast was already in your room for the next morning. A small fridge was supplied to keep milk and drinks cool. We had an enjoyable stay overall and would definitely recommend it to others.

I chanced upon the Bluebell while looking for somewhere to stay, and it was the best "chanced upon" that I've had yet. A regular traveller to the Retford area, the Bluebell is now firmly my favourite of all the places I've stayed. The rooms are incredibly clean, and are well fitted out with very comfortable beds. I went to stay there lately and i was given a lift by the owner Iwan from Retford. Very clean room and great place to stay. Would recommend this place to anyone.
