We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at The Ann Bean Mansion. The Victorian house is well maintained and most of the beautiful woodwork throughout is original. The decor is tasteful and true to the period, not silly-frilly like many B&B's. Our room and private bath were spacious yet cozy, and very clean. The innkeepers (Erin and Jeremy) were efficient and... more

We highly recommend the Ann Bean Mansion. The atmosphere was perfect and the breakfast was amazing! My husband LOVED the espresso. We are definitely planning a trip back! more

Having never been to a bed and breakfast before, my girlfriend and I were not quite sure what to expect. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed at the door by Erin (one f the inkeepers) and as soon as we stepped foot inside the mansion, we knew we had made a good choice. We stayed in Cynthia's room... more

My fiancee and I visited the Ann Bean Mansion for a two-night stay at the beginning of March, 2009. This was our first excursion to a "B&B," and I would be lying if I said we didn't feel a bit of trepidation, but were quickly put at ease by the welcoming manner in which we were received by innkeepers Erin... more

We made a 2-night stay while visiting family in the area. The house is awesome. The Christmas tree was up in the parlor and gorgeous. Our room was so big I wondered if it was two with one leading to another. The bed was delightful. Breakfast was one delicious surprise after an other. A very nice experience. more

This is definitely a beautiful home with a lot of history. I had made reservations over a month in advance to stay at the mansion for our wedding night and an extra day. When I called the day of the wedding to inform them that I was going to drop off our luggage, they told me they had our reservation... more

The groom made the reservations online and therefore the error was his (we keep electronic records to avoid issues)--yet we immediately sought to provide a seamless solution. We did not mind being the scapegoat in the eyes of family and friends to save the groom from embarrassment, but to write a false scathing review as a cover-up saddens us. We...

My wife & I have been staying at B&B's since the mid-90's, whether for special events (anniversary, birthday, etc) or just to get out of town. Since we discovered the Ann Bean Mansion, every other B&B just seems to fall a little short of our expectations. It's not that the others are not good, it's just that the Ann Bean... more

We recently enjoyed our second stay at the lovely Ann Bean Mansion. We were there for our brief honeymoon two years ago and couldn’t wait to get back to celebrate our two year anniversary. The night was utterly relaxing and wonderfully cozy. The innkeepers are very accommodating and friendly, and the breakfast conversations really make you feel welcome and at... more

Our two night stay was a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life. This time of year it was a bonus to see all the holiday decorations throughout the mansion and on Stillwater's main street. Ann and Albert's room was spacious and we were spoiled by the plush king bed, double whirlpool tub with heated floor and... more

My husband and I are both from Stillwater and have stayed at other Stillwater B&Bs...and we loved Ann Bean! The inn keeper, Jeremy, was generous enough to offer us a complementary stay after my husband returned from a 15-month deployment in Iraq. We spent a night away together away from the family hustle-and-bustle, and couldn't have felt more at home.... more
