The hotel itself is beautiful, they were still finishing some landscaping on the grounds around the new addition. This is a Vegas-style resort with a Northern theme and totally won me over. Decor, layout, grounds, service were all excellent. The dinner buffet needs improvement, breakfast was great. Rooms are a little noisier than I like, but very comfortable. more

I've found this hotel quite friendly. I wouldn't suggest visiting for events like Long John Days if you are not a part of the events. On my visits I have found the staff helpful, the hotel rooms immaculate, the food better than average, and have had fun. We've been to many social events and just get-aways. more
