Was in Tyler for a work meeting. The Tyler Motel is an older-style motel and the rooms are small, but the bed was comfortable, everything in the room was very clean, and the service was personable and responsive. I forgot my iPod and they agreed to mail it to me the next day. Recommended.
We have family in the area and have stayed at this motel a number of times. It's an older property that hasn't seen many changes over the years. It is now in second generation ownership, however, and some upgrades have been made (at least in the room we where in) including a wall mounted flat screen TV and a fridge/microwave....

Old 1950's style motel. Small room, dated and worn furniture, but clean throughout. Shower was very good with lots of hot water. The main problem was the bed. Double size and very uncomfortable! Soft, no support. By morning couldn't stand up straight! It is clean but UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS.
