We had only stayed at one previous Microtel in Raton, NM and were very satisfied. This hotel in Brandon was run down, very small room, not a very good value, bathroom door handle/lock was broken and door would not close. I informed the desk clerk, but no response. more
The lobby of this hotel looks nice until you get on the elevator. The doors open to a dillapidated couch sitting in the hall with the cushions all falling through to the floor.
