I am very meticulous in the planning of my road trips, and I must say that this stop was never planned. One of the guys on the trip didn't feel good and we had been in the car for 10 hours, so we felt we should probably stop. This is the first time I make a surprise stop at a hotel at 1:30AM, and did not know what to expect. We checked out the other motels first: Red Roof 65$ / night , Microtel Inn and Suites didnt have any regular rooms and wanted to give up a suite for 85$ / night. For a few hours sleep, it was not worth it. So we went to the Days Inn, the front desk guy was a little cold with us but considering the time I dont blame him. He gave us a room two beds for 55$ / night, which turned out for us to be a great decision and exactly what we needed. Very comfortable room, nice bathroom, clean sheets, wi-fi (extremely important for us). The only downside was the very small breakfast offering, a few danishes and some coffee. But Great value for the price!
