My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn in Brookhaven, MS. The hotel was very clean and the room was really nice. Entered the room and notice that it smelled and was hot, we cranked up the air conditioning and left for a couple of hours. When we returned the room was still hot and the toilet rocked, the drawer on the dresser was falling apart. Went to the front desk and requested another room and was given one. We changed rooms...... more

1. Toilet rocked when you sat down on it. Bathroom was scary nasty. 2. Cigarette burn holes in bedspreads. 3. Non-smoking room smelled like smoke and mildew. 4. Drawers broken off fronts of dressers. It was worth 20 more bucks to stay at the Hampton a block away. Our original stay was booked for 2 nights. We only lasted one... more

We had a group of 6 staying in Brookhaven for 3 nights on business. Chose the Days Inn only because other hotels were full of hurricane victims and recovery workers. This was easily the worst place I've ever stayed. I did get a non-smoking room so it didn't smell that bad, but half of our group (all non-smokers) had smoking... more
