“quiet area”

the hotel was nice, a nice quiet area away from the traffic. restaurants are close by no need for a car, and the pool seemed to be nice. The stuff was great and the breakfast was nice in the morning, especially the coffe.

“Excellent lay over”

Excellent place for a lay over when we are traveling form Mississippi to Florida. The Hampton is within walking distance of an Outback restaurants. The Hampton is close to Highway 59, so it is easy to find and easy to get back on the road.

We love being your layover spot! Thank you for taking the time to write a review and please stay with us again anythime you need a break from the highway. From a hot breakfast in the monrings to fresh warm cookies in the evenings we hope that we can continue to be your place of rest from the hectic highway. More

“Great Location”

Was traveling thru and was looking for a Hampton Inn and was hoping of an Outback Restaurant near by. We were shocked when we got there! It was NEXT DOOR! So if you are looking for a great hotel within walking distance of food this is it! Neat hotel. Would stay here again.

“Opens to outside!”

This is not your usual Hampton Inn. The rooms open to the outside - very dated and more like a 1960's motel for $140.00 a night. Musty odor, poor mattress (you can feel the springs), dirty floors. Very noisy. Think twice before staying anywhere in Hattiesburg-we have been disappointed here before in other hotels. Consider SleepIn or Residence Inn.

Older hotel that needs weatherstripping on the doors and better insulation. I agree with others; it used to be another hotel and is now a Hampton. “Just about average, will choose the nearby Garden Inn next time”

This is an older property, might have been another brand in the past. All the usual Hampton amenities were present, but the overall feel is one of a 30 year old hotel that could use some refreshing.
