If you want authentic, historic and true blues history this is the place. Each room is a step back in time Jackson, MS style. The host was very kind and generous. She is very knowledgeable on the blues history. Jackson MS is well known for his rich history in Blues music. If you are looking for original Jackson history, or history of Mississippi, the Poindexter Inn is a lovely quaint inn with much history. The house itself is about 100 years old. more

Personable host, with expert knowledge of city, particuarly the blues history and current music scene. Very accomodating. Basic amenities.
