This was a great stop on our way to our daughter's in Texas. With a year old grandchild, we hope to be making many road trips this way and this could definitely be our halfway point. This hotel was everything I expected from Holiday Inn. The lobby and pool area were lovely and the breakfast was terrific--eggs, bacon, biscuits, etc. We were only there overnight on the way home but I think it would have been a good place to spend a few days. This was one of the best Holiday Inn Expresses I have ever stayed at! The hotel was convenient to both the town and highway and to both fast food (McDonalds/Wendys/others) and sit down restaurants (Cracker Barrel/Ruby Tuesday/Mexican Food). This property is one of the dwindling "old" HIEs still bedecked in the older blue logo.
