I am quite disappointed in this hotel. I have never stayed at a Super 8, and thanks to this experience, I will do my best to avoid them at all costs. We were scheduled to stay at the Super 8 in Oxford, MS on 4.29.06. I JUST found out that we would have relatives in town and called to cancel - they will not release my reservation and plan to charge my credit card. I understand that there are rules and regulations, but I truly long for the days when a little common courtesy was extended to business patrons. I called as soon as I knew, and they are holding fast to their resolve not to refund my account. I am now aware that Super 8s are all independently owned, and that the corporate headquarters will not assist in these matters. Long story short - if my credit card company doesn't come through for me, I will be stuck paying for a room that I cannot use.
