The pictures and information on their website are very misleading. There is no way that the pictures on there were taken of this property.
The staff are quite friendly overall but that is the only redeeming feature of this property.
The rooms are very small. My room had been recently painted so it appeared fairly clean. They do have a small (read tiny) kitchen area with a stove and fridge but don't provide anything to cook with ie: pot, pan, utensils etc...
At $65.99 (including tax) i would say this place is overpriced. Another thing I didn't like is they use blinds instead of curtains and there were 'gaps' that could be seen through. I fixed that with duct tape.
This appears to be more of a place for 'long stayers' and they still have Katrina evacuees staying here (Aug 2008).
They don't do breakfast but the restaurant is supposed to be opening soon.
I really wouldn't recommend staying here if you have a choice.
