“Treats a customer who has stayed there about 100 times like a dog!!!” Pending review 1 of 5 stars Just stay away from this place! There are plenty of other Motels and Hotels in the area of Blue Springs, MO. The manager at the Blue Springs, MO Motel 6 was downright rude and it was uncalled for. Upper management in... More

Parking lot does not look safe and room smells heavily of smoke. AC was very poor. Towels were pitiful. Deadbolt was very hard to lock! I would only recommend this place if nothing else is available in KC. More

This was a family trip on a tight budget. The hotel was very close to my family. I've stayed in Motel 6 before an expected much better than what we got. Non-smoking rooms had a stench of heavy smoke. The linens were never changed in our eight day stay. Maid service was nonexistent. On the Fourth of July when my... More

My friend had stayed here once before and said it wasn't bad, so we booked it online. When we got to our room, I immediately noticed that the carpet was pretty dirty right in front of the door. I checked out the bathroom and there was only one bath towel. It hadn't been swept under the sink, but at least... More

Long story short.. One week ago I stayed the night there as I have for almost a year and a half. I shut the door and forgot my camera. Went straight to the desk and informed the clerk. She sent housekeeping to the room and they said there was no camera. So they stole my camera and all those memories... More

This was an acceptable super-budget $29 motel. I paid an additional $3 for wireless internet which had a very good signal. The room seemed small since there were two queen beds, each of which was nearly against the wall (I only used one). There was no clock radio. The TV was a small 19" CRT with an acceptable channel selection.... More

Clarification: I reserved here but refused to stay after experiencing strong cigarette smells in room, noisy location near highway, and insecurity of seeing young men hanging around the premises (like drug dealers). Yes, this motel is cheap and now I know why. More

I think the prior ratings are a little unjust. I felt this was an above average Motel 6 (which are basically simple and cheap). The desk clerk was nice, the parking lot was quiet and felt safe, and everything was clean. Plus I'll give it an extra star for being so inexpensive. (BTW, my definition of a below average Motel... UNFAVORABLE: Rule #1 of lodging industry is that the guest must be able to sleep! Apparently, the person handling the night clerk duties that night was a new trainee who they had not adequately trained. Around 11pm to take a break from driving, I checked in here, paid, and filled out the paperwork as requested. I happened to notice a... More

When I entered my room, the "made" bed didn't look right. The bed spread looked dated and dirty and there was a few cigarette burn holes in the blanket. After pulling back the blanket, I noticed a body-fluid stain in the middle of the bed along with what looked like pubic hair. I called the front desk and they sent... More
