I was looking for a hotel in the Branson with a HEATED OUTDOOR pool and the Southern Oaks website stated that they had one. My kids love to swim but an outside pool in September is a little cool at night - which is when we finally get around to the pool activities so a heated pool was a must.... more

The Southern Oaks used to be a decent place to stay. Not anymore! Rooms are in terrible need of a refurb. Our room had a smell to it upon entering. After reading the reviews of this hotel (some good some not so good) I decided to give it a try anyway. Oh how I wish I hadn't. The walls are paper thin and the rooms smelled musty and moldy. Not impressed but then again I don't have to go back there again. Will stick to what I know from now... more
