This was just an OK hotel for the money. I originally planned to make a reservation at the Best Western in Branson, but the tourism center highly suggested the Grand Plaza. We had a smoking room because all three of us smoke. Odor was not offensive as in most smoking rooms. Staff and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. Stayed at this venue with a group of 52 - NOT GOOD! The rooms were not clean, and continued to not be properly cleaned after a four-night stay! Getting to and from the rooms took a lot of time - only two elevators for the big hotel. Taking the stairs was impossible as the stairwells were blue with smoke residue.... more
