The rooms were adequate and we appreciated the kitchenette that came in our suite. It's a clean hotel and very convenient to the golf course. My major complaint concerns noise. We were staying in the Farmington/Ste. Genevieve area for the weekend to check out Crown Valley Winery for the weekend. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub upon our return from Crown Valley Winery. We also enjoyed our evening walk around the golf course behind the lodge. We were in Farmington to attend a wedding and could not get rooms at Eagle Lake Lodge so we made reservations at the sister property Tradition Inn. After one night at Tradition Inn, we called Eagle Lake and they were able to accommodate the remainder of our stay. Eagle Lake Lodge opened in April, 2006, and is a first-class facility.... more
