Went to Lulabelle's for dinner (did not stay at the hotel). Knew it was pricey going in but expected better. Sat in an area that was probably a back porch originally. It was cold. One of the overhead CFL's was flashing and we had to ask to have it fixed. Our service was slow and not friendly. My prime rib... more

After reading reviews I was very worried heading into Hannibal. We stayed at the painted lady this is much farther from the tracks which are a very active set of tracks. Our kids loved the little house and screamed with delight at the rooms and I didn't have to worry about them disturbing anyone. I showed up in the afternoon,... more

We were looking forward to staying at the "Painted Lady," a cottage run by LulaBelle's. We reserved online, and got a confirmation e-mail back. That was the last thing that went well. It wasn't clear where to check in, so I finally went to the bar at LulaBelle's restaurant (several blocks away). When the attendant showed up and presented a... more

We did not stay here at the B&B, but we did eat dinner here. I have to say, the food was excellent and the portions were huge. I am a big eater and I could not finish my plate. As for there being nothing for children, this isn't an Applebee's. It's considered a fine dining restaurant. Bring your own crayons.... more

I stayed at Lulabelles from June 16 to 20. I found the facility charming and old fashioned just what a B & B should be. The owner/host Mike was very accommodating concerning the earlier breakfast time that I needed to arrive at class on time. Each day the breakfast menu varied and the staff couldn't have been nicer. I worried... more

There is absolutely nothing for the kids here. Since I cannot find a seperate listing for the Lula Belle's restaurant, I am posting it here. A year ago my organization hosted a retreat in the Hannibal area and had the food catered by Lula Belle's. I remembered that the food was absolutely fantastic so when we came back to Hannibal,... more

First of all, LulaBelle's is not a bed and breakfast, as it advertises itself to be. It is a small inn. So don't expect a B&B experience when you go there. Or, actually, even a small inn experience. Unless you count blatant disregard and sleeping in dusty ickiness an "experience." I arrived and stood in the foyer, which is also... more

My daughter and I visted Hannibal on a Mother/daughter day trip and really enjoyed the entire day. We ate lunch at LulaBelle's and would recommend this establishment to others. The service was great and the food was good. The setting of the dining area was very nice and comfortable. The restaurant is close to the downtown area so we walked... more

We were greeted by an unfriendly bar staff person who showed us to our room. The carpet was stained, walls cracked and the room was not welcoming at all. At this point we should have left, but thought we would give it a try....we started hearing the trains as we were getting ready to go to sleep, but by 1:30am... more

Since I was an English Lit major, I had wanted to visit Hannibal, boyhood home of Mark Twain, for a long time. Was finally able to fit it in this Christmas vacation and both the town and the B&B were well worth it. I wanted to stay somewhere special after a long drive across Kansas and Missouri, so I selected... more
