We just returned from a weekend get away in Hermann. We stayed at Birk's for two nights. This was our first time at a B and B and we were not surprised or disappointed with our stay. Our king room was comfortable and the breakfast was good, with enough varied menu items that you could find something you liked. Yogurt was excellent, as was the homemade baked apple topping on the French toast. There are one or two steep flights of stairs, depending on where your room is. The house shows its age, but it is comfortable.
