We booked a suite in the hotel after viewing its website which, alongside the fact it is a member of "Chateaux & Hotels de France", and is located near Avignon, seemed very promising. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge mistake: The hotel is situated in a slum, a very unpleasant village. It is dirty and poorly maintained. All... more

The staff at the hotel is friendly. However the manager and his family should better stay far away from this place. Don't expect any flexibility from the management. Our 3-year old daughter had to pay the full breakfast rate of 16 euro's while she only eats one slice of bread, drinks one glass of milk and 1 glass of orange... more

Pluses: Good food, lovely setting Negative: Overbearing owner, paper thin walls so every sigh from the next room heard, petty charging for boiling one's own eggs at breakfast, unacceptably uncomfortable beds for the cost of the room. more

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in October of 2007. I was really concerned about my choice because there weren't a lot of reviews. We were both pleasantly surprised. Our room was on the ground floor with French doors that opened onto a private patio with a wonderful view of the olive trees. The room... more

We stayed at the Moulin d'Aure in Graveson for 5 nights with half board (pre-booked). The location is good, the olive grove in front of the rose-bordered terraces lovely. The room was small but adequate, with a very good bathroom. The pool is super. The restaurant was disappointing with inconsistently mediocre food with very little choice. The evening menu at... more

We were biking in Provence and spent two nices at the du Molin d'Aure and loved it. The restaurant served excellent food and its atmosphere near the pool and orchard was simply wonderful. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was one of the most modern of any hotel we've ever stayed in. Breakfast was first class. Service was great.... more

I stayed in hotel du moulin d'aure from 6 till 17th August 2006. We are two friends from Belgium. We booked this hotel because it seemed very nice and it was more than that ! We stayed in room number 1, a double bedroom with terrace. Very clean and spacious; a beautiful terrace; and extremely quiet during the day and... more

We have mixed feelings about our three night stay at the Moulin. This is a child-friendly hotel and anyone wishing to stay in early July should be aware that because the hotel has a great pool it attracts families of all nationalities. The setting is charming, although I agree the road noise from behind the hotel can be somewhat distracting.at... more

We stayed in room 20 (mini suite) located in the farmhouse over the easter weekend. Very nice Italian family run the hotel with plenty of space, swimming pool, olive groves and a "reasonable" price for Provence. This room gives enough space and direct access to the garden to travel with a dog or baby. The restaurant is also located close... more

This is a lovely small hotel outside of St Remy (a short drive). Beautiful, large, peaceful room and large bathroom (with jacuzzi bathtub). Impeccably clean. Nice swimming pool where many guests seemed to lounge all day. Fabulous breakfast and dinner (best meal in France that we had). Rooms very affordable! You may want to spend a bit more for a... more
