Yves and Michelle offer everything you could hope for in terms of a pleasant getaway experience in the Alps. Their lovely home is located in a stunning part of the 'Hautes Alps' and provides an ideal refuge for anyone looking to get away from the daily grind. The property is cozy and delightfully decorated in a traditional style which creates... More

Booked because of the good reviews and not disappointed! Yves and Michele were attentive and friendly and made us feel so welcome. Great breakfast in their lovely kitchen. The house is warm and cosy in mid-winter and we took the ground-floor apartment, ideal for two couples or mum and dad and two children. It has its own small kitchen and... More

It's hard to imagine a more beautiful area than les Hauts-Alpes or friendlier, more informative hosts than Yves and Michelle. This is a lovely, 250-year-old country home just outside tiny Jausiers. Michelle greeted us with hot chocolate and biscuits and friendly conversation (en francais). Then she showed us our spacious room with a lovely view. Next day, we had the... More

This was the nicest room we stayed in during our trip to France. Surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and forest walks. Tasty breakfasts and very friendly hosts even though they did not speak a lot of English and our French is terrible! Keep in mind this B&B is in an alpine area, and the roads from Nice were challenging.

We were really pleased with our decision to stay here two nights in June. The host are absolutely kind and welcoming. The breakfast is a feast from the countryside with home made jams. The house it is very good condition and the rooms are extremely large and well decorated. Jausiers is in the middle of country side. Ideal place if... More

What a lovely stay we have had. Such friendly hosts, always interested to help us make the most of our stay, giving us ideas for walks, meals etc. Many nice discussions. Such a calm location with the mountains all around. Our room was huge and scrupulously clean (photos from other posts) and we have been able to relax so much... More

We loved our stay in this beautifully restored house. Once we found it.... we were warmly welcomed by our hosts, who seemed to enjoy this role and produced possibly the best meal we had in France. Strongly recommended.

The charming, very tastefully renovated stone house is set in a quiet, tucked-away hamlet with stunning views over the valley. Our hosts were most friendly and welcoming and had thought of every detail to make us comfortable. We enjoyed the generous breakfasts in the garden as much as the delicious dinner cooked by our host, a former chef. A thoroughly... More
