What a change to find a hotel that hasn't had all its character and heart removed to suit this sometimes all too modern world. I did choose a bigger size room and was on demi pension which was good value considering it was high season. Huge pool, plenty of sun longers, 2 underused tennis courts, attractive grounds. The rooms are... More

The owner manager gave us a warm, personal welcome. I felt that her good taste was reflected in the attractive decor, in the hotel. We were upgraded from `standard` to `classic` room, which was fairly small, but comfortable. Buffet breakfast provided a good selection and dinner by the pool was enjoyable. The location is conveniently situated for visits to Arles,... More

We spent two nights here and found everything to be perfectly lovely, but felt the rooms needed to be updated (better furnishings and lighting). Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Grounds are gorgeous. Restaurant very good, pool beautiful.

Great food - delicious buffet breakfast including scrambled eggs and mini pastries and amazing 3 course dinner included if you get half board lots of fish and they will always offer you another option if you don't like something. The staff are incredibly thoughtful, friendly and kind. It would good if some of the loud guests could be encouraged to... More

We stayed at the loveliest hotel in the heart of Provence, near the Alpilles. We loved our room, tastefully furnished and overlooking the park, by the huge pool. Buffet breakfast is a treat, with a large selection of food, we had it 'al fresco' on the terrace. very nice people at the front desk, helpful and pleasant. Don't skip their... More

I don't like to talk down on hotels but this one was a big disappointement. The hotel is old, not cosy at all and the rooms smell. Inside it was like soviet style. After the first day we checked out and booked another hotel in Castillon du Gare. The website is totally misleading. The hotel does have potential, pity they... More

This was my second visit to Les Mazets des Roches, and this visit was even better than the first. The women who run the office were extremely courteous and helpful when I was booking my room, especially as I wanted the same room I had last year. Upon arrival they were friendly and accommodating. The hotel, as last year, was... More

Les Mazets is a quaint, out of the way hotel at the base of the Alpilles. There is a large pool and restaurant on site (good thing too as there is not much around the hotel). The rooms were of adequate size though ours could be a bit noisy as the floors were tile - no carpet to dampen the... More

Nicely situated in quiet, spacious woodland this hotel has potential, but now unfortunately has a tired, damp, neglected feel. On arrival we killed several cockroaches around the french windows of our room and a centipede in the loo. Air conditioning was not listed as a feature, but our room had an air heater/air conditionining device built in - The fan... More

This hotel is getting a bit tired, it needs a face lift, as we were just passing through it served it’s purpose, long corridors with dormitory style rooms off give a odd feel to the hotel, a good welcome received, but restaurant run as independent concern away from the hotel,
