The odd shape of the guest rooms makes me glad I'm not sharing the room with anyone. The closet in room 815 is actually behind a sitting chair. With nowhere else for the chair to go, I hve to reach over it to get to the hangers. I didn't find the restaurant to be as great as all the other... More

I met my daughter in Jefferson City when she was taking the MCAT. Being a Hilton Honor member, I usually stay at a Hilton affiliated hotel. The Doubletree in Jefferson City is very unique because it is round. The resturant on top of the hotel offers an awesome view of the capitol and city. The hotel staff was very accomodating;... More

The food in the restaurant definitely does not coincide with the price. I have been to many fine dining restaurants and this does not compare to the quality. If I stayed at this hotel again which I was quite satisfied with the accommodations, I would most likely not eat at the over priced mediocre restaurant. More

Overal, this is a standard Doubletree, in the center of downtown. It can be a bit overpriced, especially when it is near capacity when the legislature is session Jan-May. It's not worth $125 a night that it sometimes lists for, but it is fine at $75-$90 a night (I am a government employee, so I generally get the gov't rate... More

I've stayed at this hotel before management changed. The improvements are large and immediately obvious. The lobby is comfortable and the room is upgraded (although still a bit small and pie-shaped). The bed is first-rate. More

The best place in town for business travelers. Very attentive staff. Clean, new rooms. Restaurant is painfully slow, but pretty tasty and has a good happy hour. Room service is a bit limited. But, still the best choice in town. Wish the AC did not cycle on and off so loudly. More

This Doubletree looks old from the outside...when did they design round hotels anyway...the 50's? Don't let the looks fool you though. The room I stayed in was very nice and I had a great room service meal. The beds at these hotels are some of the best around. The entire hotel appeared to be very clean and everything had a... More

We just had a reception at the Doubletree. The location was perfect with a fabulous view. The Saffire restaurant is wonderful and so the catered reception was exceptional. But I was most impressed with the service and staff. They made preparation effortless and even thought of things we didn't. I highly recommend them for receptions and business meetings. More

OK, so the hotel itself is nothing spectacular. The rooms are a little small and a little oddly shaped but they are clean, quiet and comfortable. The cable is decent and the Restaurant upstairs is actually pretty good (I know I cleaned my plate). The best part of this hotel is the location. From here you can walk to the... More
