I've stayed at the KC Marriott several times, all on business travel, most recently for a convention at the adjacent center in mid-October. Apparently, they have very few king sized beds, so they put me in a room in their 'tower' building, another hotel they'd taken over and connected by skyway. I have stayed here multiple times due to business requiremjents and Very poor check in and low level of services. Resturant service and food poor and the Fitness Center doesnt open till 7am on weekends which when one has early morning meetings is not good. And the staff had no idea on where to job instead. Not a great exeperience. more

The hotel was a good option near the convention center. Rooms were clean and met my expectations. I would not describe it as a luxury hotel. Internet service was spotty. Room service was prompt and food was average. Also walking distance to many restaurants and movie theaters. more

The location is great. The hotel is within walking distance of Kansas City's Power & Light entertainment district. The bed is one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. However, the concierge service is pretty lacking. Everyone else was really nice, including the travel desk, but the concierge desk is slow and sometimes they only have one person there.... more

Stayed here on rewards points for an event at nearby Sprint Center. An excellent experience. Great location within blocks (short walk) of Power & Light District bars, restaurants and the Spring Center. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet and the bed was VERY comfortable. My wife and I just returned from a conference in KC and a four night stay at this Marriott. We stayed in a tenth floor room in the Muelbach tower that was very nice. The only good thing I can say is the location and the beds. For $200 you get nothing! I stayed at a motel in Branson and got better service. I would never stay here again. Stay away!!! more

Excellent location in the heart of downtown, KC MO. Easy-on, off highway, and from airport (right off, US-169 S). Lobby is nice and worthy of a Marriott brand. Rooms are comfortable and quite clean.
